Megan is the Owner and Artistic Director of The Dance Haven: an inclusive studio, serving the Morgantown and Wheeling communities. With nearly 20 years of teaching experience, she is dedicated to making dance inclusive, meaningful, and community centered for all people.

      After studying dance and dance pedagogy in college, Megan spent 15 years teaching a variety of dance styles before discovering the DanceAbility Method, an internationally recognized approach to inclusive dance. Under the mentorship of Master DanceAbility Instructor Michaela Knox, Megan completed nearly 200 hours of training and became the first certified DanceAbility Instructor in the state of West Virginia.

     Through her work at The Dance Haven, Megan creates opportunities for people of diverse abilities and backgrounds to experience the creativity, connection, and joy of movement. Her work is guided by the belief that dance belongs to everyone and that everyone deserves opportunities for creativity, self-expression, connection, and community.
